Fate of Alakada was released on the 12th of April 2020 and grossed over 30 million Naira in 4 days despite restrictions as a result of the pandemic. This Nollywood movie was written by Yakubu Olawale and Ozoioma Ogbaji.

The story tales around living a fake life in the city of Lagos which is focused on social media and Nigerian pop culture.

Citation was released on October 31st, 2020, and was distributed on Netflix and featured Nigeria billionaire, Femi Otedola’s daughter Temi Otedola. The movie was directed by Kunle Afolayan and directed by Tunde Babalola.

4. Ratnik

Ratnik is Nigeria’s first apocalyptic science fiction movie centered released on the 1st of December 2020 and was produced by Dimeji Ajibola. The movie was awarded by Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
