One of which is the mobile banking channels, banks to start charging N6.98 for every USSD transaction made using the mobile banking platform.
This development took effect across various commercial banks on the 5th of June 2021, although it didn’t come as great news despite the current economic situation.

According to a newsletter from Zenith Bank, the charges are remitted to the mobile network providers.
