In the past week, the report has it that he had given herdsmen seven days ultimatum to leave his state which is Oyo state. However, this has raised an uproar in his environment which led to the burning of the houses.
This human rights activist is on the mission of bringing sanity to the South-Western part of the country but sending out the herdsmen who are said to be responsible for the killings, rapes, and kidnaps in that region.
Sunday Igbolo however, has taken his campaign outside his state Oyo as he was reported to be seen in Ogun state. He said in his statement that he was invited by the government of the state to intervene in the excesses of the herdsmen in the state.
Sunday Igboho, alongside his enthusiastic supporters, were spotted in the capital city of Ogun state Abeokuta on Monday. With his success in displacing the herdsmen in his hometown, there are high hopes that he would do the same in Ogun state.
The quest to send out these Fulanis who are reported to be torturing the Yorubaland is paramount in Sunday Igboho goals for his region as he has refused to give up on cleansing that region from the herdsmen. It is also said that he would be visiting other parts of the Yorubaland that are been disturbed by these people. We only can wait to unravel all these events as they unfold in weeks to come.
